Foreign Minister receives British Ambassador to Kingdom of Bahrain
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, today received the United Kingdom Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Roderick Drummond, at the Ministry’s headquarters. The meeting was also attended by Kingdom of Bahrain Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, and Director of the European Affairs and European Union Directorate at the Ministry, Shaikha Aysha bint Ahmed Al Khalifa.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the historic friendship between Bahrain and the United Kingdom, the course of bilateral cooperation and ways to develop it in all areas in a way that benefits the two friendly countries and people. They also discussed a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
