The Bahamas Bids Farewell to The Chinese Ambassador

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a farewell ceremony for Her Excellency DAI Qingli, the outgoing Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to The Bahamas on Friday, 5th April 2024.
During the ceremony, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hon. Frederick Mitchell provided remarks, followed by the keynote address, a toast by Prime Minister Hon. Philip E.B. Davis, and a response by Ambassador Dai.

The ceremony highlighted Ambassador Dai’s community service and diplomatic professionalism during her tenure, further enhancing relations between the two countries. Ambassador Dai stressed that her successors will continue in this vein to ensure that diplomatic relations between the Commonwealth of The Bahamas and the People’s Republic of China maintain the principle of a “win-win” approach in their cooperation.
