Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka had a phone call with her counterpart, the Spanish Foreign Minister Arancha Gonzalés Laya.
The Chief Diplomat Xhaçka informed the Spanish counterpart about Albania’s progress in addressing the requirements to open the negotiations, emphasizing that our country has fulfilled all the conditions to have the First Intergovernmental Conference. Minister Xhaçka valued the support of Spain so far in this aspect.
The conversation also focused in further promoting of the bilateral cooperation between the two countries and an update on the situation caused by the pandemic and measures taken.
