Minister Xhaçka said that recently the region has had stable advancement, as she emphasized that unresolved situations should not be permitted to threaten the progress made so far.
The Minister with regard to Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, is in Bucharest, where she participated in the Munich Leaders Meeting, co-organized by Romania.
“Albania is a completely different reality these days. The whole region is really various today. Different in the sense there is a new spirit of cooperation in the majority of the region plus between most of the countries in the region. If the Western Countries, EUROPEAN UNION and the USA in assistance with local actors, for example Albania, which has been a factor associated with stability and pro-active regional cooperation, work together, with a crystal clear vision and strategy, the Western Balkans will end to be an area of concern and will become a peaceful and built-in region of Europe, ” she said.
This high-level meeting can be organized within the framework from the Munich Security Conference (MSC), also known as the Core Team Meeting, and provides a good chance to discuss the main security difficulties in Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, including the future of the Western Balkans and the Dark Sea region, as well as the danger posed by Russia towards the international order, taking into account the military aggression against Ukraine.
