The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, held a meeting with the UN Resident Coordinator in Albania, Fiona McCluney.
Minister Xhaçka praised the cooperation with the UN team in Tirana so far, while emphasizing on further advancing this cooperation.
“We shared thoughts and ideas on advancement of shared priorities such as Women, Peace and Security, the top priority of Albania in UN Security Council, but also on Ukraine and the potential consequences of the war on Albania.” said Minister Xhaçka in twitter.
The UN Resident Coordinator is the representative of the UN Secretary General in Albania and is responsible for coordinating the work of the UN resident team in Albania.
