BILATERAL RELATIONS BETWEEN ALBANIA AND INDIA

In 2022, the two countries are non-permanent members of the UN Security Council, which offers increased opportunities for cooperation in the multilateral dimension for peacekeeping, strengthening security and sustainable development.
OVERVIEW India gained independence from Britain in 1947 and is a Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic Republic. The capital and largest urban area of India is (New) Delhi; the second largest city is Mumbai. The official languages are Hindi-Urdu and English
Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on March 3, 1956. In 2008 the Albanian Embassy was opened in New Delhi, which closed in 2014. Currently, Albania covers relations with India through the Embassy in Beijing while India through its Embassy in Bucharest.
BILATERAL RELATIONS
Relations between the two countries are traditional and friendly. These relationships have a very strong bridge that is the memory of Mother Teresa.
 
India, located in South Asia and occupies most of it, with an area of 3,287,263 km², India is the 7th largest country in the world.
Relations between the two countries have the potential for further development in the political, economic, trade, cultural, educational fields and tourism.
