Mr. Potzel elaborated on his mission to FM Muttaqi, calling for IEA’s cooperation & coordination to carry out his mission better.Mr. Potzel said UN appreciates presence of foreign diplomatic missions in Afghanistan & supports return of more embassies to Kabul.FM Muttaqi wished Mr. Potzel well for his tenure, adding that he expects UNAMA to play a positive & constructive role in Afghanistan’s relations and interaction with the world.Mr. Muttaqi stressed that IEA not be judged on baseless claims of antagonist circles, adding that with the coming to power of the new gov. the situation has improved, security is ensured & any domestic or external institution can carry out mission efficiently & transparently.
