IEA-MoFA Statement regarding first Indian – Central Asian States NSA meeting in Brand new Delhi.

IEA welcomes the offer to include Chabahar Port within the North-South International Transport Hallway. We stand ready to offer all necessary protection plus facilities in this regard.
In the current situation, we think about concerns expressed in the communique regarding providing shelter, coaching, planning and financial assistance to disruptive elements in Afghanistan as misplaced.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan welcomes such meetings aimed at building better coordination for security of the region and also appreciates the communique of this meeting expressing support for a stable, peaceful, built-in and secure Afghanistan, plus respect for asovereignty, unity and territorial integrity as well as the principle of non-interference within Afghanistan’s internal affairs.
We hope that Afghanistan will also be invited to take part in the second meeting of the National Security Advisers/Secretaries of the Safety Council of India plus Central Asia to be kept in May 2023 in Kazakhstan, where the presence of IEA representatives would help create cooperation and confidence within security, prevention of individual and drug trafficking, shipping of humanitarian aid towards the people of Afghanistan, plus particularly in the implementation associated with basic infrastructure projects.
The Islamic Emirate remains committed and will not allow anyone to pose the threat to the region and the world from Afghanistan’s dirt or to interfere in other’s internal affairs.
